We carefully monitor COVID-19 updates and meticulously follow the guidelines set by both the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY).
Based on government orders and instructions, we will open safely and accept arriving visitors starting on 15 June 2020. All operations will be carried out according to the strict hygiene standards that we have set, to ensure a safe, healthy, and hospitable environment!
Our staff has been trained for Covid-19 and all the necessary procedures for the environment to be safe for our guests and employees.
Hand sanitizers have been placed in all common areas.
We provide hand sanitizer, disposable masks, and gloves to our staff, according to the instructions of EODY, but also to all our guests upon arrival. At the same time, we have placed special treadle waste bins in the common areas and rooms for the disposal of masks and gloves.
All common areas, especially elevators, are regularly cleaned and disinfected, while an emphasis is placed on frequently touched points.
We have placed special signs in all common areas, informing our guests to practice social distancing, wear masks, and observe the recommended personal hygiene measures.
In keeping with the instructions of EODY, our hotel has been appropriately prepared to secure the health of our guests during their stay, by creating a special management team for suspected Covid-19 cases to prevent and control any urgent medical incident.
Also, under Greek law and the instructions of EODY, a COVID-19 record of our guests, as well as our partners, is kept in our hotel. In particular, we are obliged to log: Room No., full name, nationality, passport No., country of origin, arrival and departure dates, and contact details (address, telephone number, email), with the aim of tracking and tracing contacts of a probable COVID-19 case.
We have decided to modify Check-Out (until 11.00 a.m.) and Check-In (from 4.00 p.m.) time, so that our rooms can be adequately ventilated, cleaned, and disinfected. We encourage digital communication, contactless transactions, as well as the provision of electronic receipts. We have installed special signage to facilitate social distancing. We provide all our guests with hand disinfectants, masks, and disposable gloves upon arrival. Finally, frequently touched surfaces and all objects received or delivered to guests are disinfected frequently and thoroughly.
We have removed all printed material which, from now on, is exclusively distributed in digital form. We have removed most of the decorative objects, as well as a significant part of additional equipment and linen, provided only upon request. We clean air conditioners according to the manufacturer’s instructions. We ventilate, clean and meticulously disinfect all rooms when vacated, using appropriate and certified cleansers, disinfectants and equipment (UV-C ultraviolet germicidal light and steam cleaners), emphasizing on frequently touched surfaces – bed headboards, sinks, toilet seats, faucets, knobs, hair-dryers, remote controls (special disposable covers are used), telephone devices, thermostats, refrigerators, kettles, wardrobes, hangers, safe boxes, irons, ironing boards, electrical outlets, switches, handrails, armchairs, etc.-, while the cleaning of the rooms and the change of linen and bedding during your stay is mutually agreed upon.
Breakfast – Snack Bar, Bar, Restaurant
The breakfast is served in the cafeteria at the ground floor of the hotel from 8am to 11am following strict hygiene measures.
The guests are welcome to pick up their breakfast and take it in their own rooms. We thoroughly disinfect the breakfast trays and the breakfast area after each use, with disinfectants designed for food-contact surfaces.
When entering the Café Bar area, hand disinfectants are used at all times, while we take all necessary precautions to observe the recommended distances that apply both for people and table seats, even though room service is always an available option.
Finally, we thoroughly disinfect the table seats after each use with appropriate disinfectants.
We have re-arranged the furniture so that social distancing is ensured. We have optimized the cleaning and disinfecting protocol for all our departments by increasing cleaning and disinfecting practices in-camera. Finally, all areas can accommodate the designated maximum number of visitors.
At the same time, however, we should highlight the distinctive features of our accommodation:
- Contactless Check-In & Check-Out transactions are supported.
- Our common areas are outdoor or semi-sheltered.
- Our café-bar is outdoor and semi-sheltered.
- You are offered the option to choose the frequency and preferred method of cleaning the rooms.
